What is Scrip?
Simply said, SCRIP are gift cards/certificates that spend the same as cash at places you already shop.  The great thing about SCRIP is that you’re simply spending money that you would otherwise spend – you just do it with cards instead of cash.

Why use SCRIP?  Dollar for dollar, you lose nothing and our school and classrooms gain.  When you purchase SCRIP, the school receives a percentage of the cost of the cards.

How do I use SCRIP?  You purchase dollar for dollar gift cards/certificates from participating stores/restaurants and they supply the profit.  The proceeds go directly back to the individual school/classroom and the Gresham Barlow Education Foundation.

What do I do next?  To purchase SCRIP, you may pick up an order form in the school office (or download from our web page).  Attach your payment (checks can be made out to GBEF) and return to school by Monday at 11:00 am.  Your order will be sent home with your student on Friday. SCRIP orders are taken every other week; a calendar is available in the office.  If you prefer to pay by credit card, a credit card authorization form is available in the office.
